Your Path to Well-Being Starts Here

Are you feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward? Therapy can be a powerful tool to empower you to overcome challenges and create a life filled with meaning and purpose.   I create a safe and supportive space where we can explore the impact of your past on your present and develop fresh perspectives.  Together, we'll build on your inner wisdom and guide you towards achieving lasting change.

Therapy designed for you.  We'll focus on your unique strengths and help you develop the ones that matter most to you.  By understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors work together, we can create effective solutions to the challenges you face.  I utilize well-researched, proven techniques like:

  • Mindfulness based psychotherapy (talk therapy with meditation and relaxation techniques. We'll train your mind to be more aware of the present moment and less caught up in negative thoughts and worries.)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (talk therapy that helps you loosen your grip on negative thoughts and feelings. Imagine them as weeds in your garden.  You can't get rid of them but ACT teaches you how to let them be there without letting them overwhelm your entire garden.)
  • Psychoanalysis/Psychodynamic Therapy (This therapy stems from the idea that our past experiences, especially those from childhood, can have a big impact on how we think, feel, and behave as adults. Imagine it as a deep exploration of your mind, kind of like spelunking for hidden thoughts and feelings.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (talk therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions.

My Mission

We will also look into the ways you communicate as well as exploring unconscious roots of the problem . My purpose is to make a difference. My work tends to go deep. Together, we find the underlying reasons, heal the wounds and get to a place where those tools can begin to be effective. Choosing a therapist and making the commitment to heal and move forward is a lofty decision and is not one to be taken lightly. It takes courage to ask for help and if you're reading this, you've already acknowledged that thought. You have already taken the first step.
